Who We Are
Milners Solicitors originated in Leeds in 1897, making us one of the city's longest established firms of solicitors.At this time the firm was known as J H Milner after founder James Henry Milner and the office was located in Albion Street, Leeds. In 1911 Mr Milner's son joined the practice, which led to the firm's first name change to J H Milner and Son.
The next major step in our firm's history came almost a century after its foundation when, in 1996 we became known by our current name of Milners Solicitors.
Service based around our clients
So that we could provide our clients with the best service possible, in 1997 the decision was taken to move to modern offices close to the Courts and commercial centre of Leeds.The new location has proven extremely convenient for our clients and provides our solicitors with excellent access to the Courts.
In October 2007 we opened a new office in Wakefield city centre, this was followed in 2008 with an office near Pontefract, in Upton. In February 2010 we opened a further office near Barnsley in Mapplewell which means that we are able to offer our service over a larger area within the Yorkshire region.
