General Experience
I am a Solicitor working in the Corporate department. My primary specialisms are the acquisition and disposal of private companies along with company restructuring, mergers and the preparation and the drafting of all types of commercial agreements including partnership/shareholder agreements and standard terms and conditions.    

Recent Cases
I have recently acted as lead advisor to the Seller in a £3 million management buyout of a haulage business as well as the £1.5 million acquisition of a firm of insurance brokers. In addition to this I have undertaken a variety of work in the Corporate Healthcare sector, in particular in the sphere of the acquisition and disposal of dental practices up to £2 million in value. My day to day caseload involves acting for the full spectrum of corporate entities ranging from startup businesses and owner managed companies to multi million pound concerns.

Background
Born and raised in Yorkshire, I attended Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Wakefield from the age of seven before moving on to Durham University (University College) where I studied Law, graduating with honours. I studied the Legal Practice Course at York College of Law before commencing a training contract at Graham&Rosen Solicitors in Hull in August 2006.  Upon completion of my training contract I moved to Milners in October 2008 to take up my current role in the Corporate department.

Interests
When not working my spare time is occupied by  playing golf, swimming, eating out and socialising with friends. I have a keen interest in cars and motorsport, attending track days and classic car events on a regular basis and on the rare occasion I have a free Saturday I can sometimes be found watching Doncaster Rovers Football Club, my hometown team.
